As of the Sunday 30th August NCMC will be introducing “Curfew Times” for the receival and unloading of livestock. This has become necessary to ensure that we meet legislative requirements.
Part of the changes will see all “Approved Visitors Cards” cancelled and the phone system used to enter & exit the site so we can maintain accurate records of who is onsite throughout the day.
Receival Times – Sunday to Friday (24hr receival)
Sunday 3.00pm through until Friday 12.30pm 24hr receival of livestock will be in place. There will be no deliveries accepted for local transport outside theses times.
On receival of livestock NCMC will have trained employee’s onsite who will take control of the stock movements.
Outside of Hours – Friday to Sunday (Curfew Times will apply)
NCMC will not be accepting local deliveries of livestock from Friday 12.30pm through until 3.00pm Sundays.
- An on-call system for receival of livestock from 3.30pm Friday afternoon through until Sunday afternoon 3.00pm will be introduced for long haul transport companies only
- An employee will be onsite for Saturday mornings to receive livestock. 6.00am – 11.00am for long haul transport companies only
- Transport companies are required to phone and notify the on call employee when they are approximately 1 hour from plant
