Tender for Casino abattoir upgrades

Northern Rivers manufacturers and contractors will be given 1st priority to tender for works associated with the Northern Co-Operative Meat Company’s upgrade to its Casino abattoir.

Valued at approximately $30m, the project will build new cold & freezer rooms, with storage, packing, palletising, and dispatch areas. It will provide locals with opportunities to supply items including:

  • Concrete works
  • Electrical
  • Structural steel
  • Carpentry
  • Masonry
  • Site works
  • Fire services
  • Cladding
  • Roofing etc…..

NCMC have stated that while tenders will be competitive, the Co-Op supports local industry by offering opportunities to bid, thus hopefully retaining work in the district.

ICNNSW, supported by the NSW Department of Industry is assisting the project by posting opportunities associated with the project via its Gateway website.
